Do you have a skewed relationship with food where you’re either being really good and feeling deprived or way off track and feeling guilty?
Do you wish you still looked the way you did the first time you thought you needed to go on a diet?
Are you ready to ditch dieting for good - but you're not quite sure what to do instead?
Do you want someone to be there with you every step of the way while you work it out?
I know that when it comes to your health and your body you want to get things right.
And because we’re all different, sometimes what you want, rather than going for a one size fits all approach that group programmes and off the shelf books, classes and systems take, is to have that one person, focused on supporting you in finding personal solutions, to your issues and your specific situation.
Maybe you don’t want to share the reasons you want help with your weight, food and body issues with the whole world. These can be deep seated, painful and just too much personal info to bandy about in a group forum
Maybe you don’t want to listen to everyone else’s problems, you just want to focus on yours; you don’t need to fill your already busy head with all the excuses that other people come up with for not focusing and doing the work they need to do to make the changes they need to make.
Maybe you simply don’t have the time to commit to being part of a group and want to make the most of the time you do have to sorting out your own personal situation. I totally get that; time is precious and when you have something you need to work on, you want to make sure that you’re using your time wisely.
If that’s the case then working 1-2-1 with me is perfect for you.
I’ve worked with lots of women on a 1-2-1 basis over the last 7 years and my forte is gently getting right to the core of what’s holding you back and giving you the tools and the support to work through it. I empower you to express yourself fully and feel confident and heard so that you can break free from the shackles of food and body image with no guilt, stress or dieting.
Having also struggled with my own relationship with food and body for over 15 years before creating my business, I can offer you the very best support when it comes to developing a normal relationship with food, a growing acceptance of your body and learning about the link between your general fulfilment in life and the way it impacts on your eating habits.
When I work one on one I can adapt to your needs and use a number of different approaches and therapies to absolutely get to the core of why you’ve been a ‘diet industry sweetheart’ for so long and to help you to finally break free, once and for all.
We’ll work together for a month, by phone or video messaging. We'll probably have one call of about 40-50 minutes each week but it's all fluid and dependent on what you need from me. You'll be able to message me anytime if you need a bit of advice or just a bit of support and hand holding.
Over the month we'll look at where you are now in relation to food, your body and your general well-being, what has contributed to you getting to this point and we'll look at what you want to change going forward.
We'll unravel all the bits and pieces that have gone before to bring you to where you are, working on releasing the emotions, beliefs and memories that are preventing you from feeling good about food and in your body. We'll also set you free from all the 'diet baggage' that you're carrying around with you.
I'll hold the space for you to discover what it is that you need to do, need to have and need to be to move forward and change the relationship you have with food, your body and yourself.
Together we'll look at the practical tools that you can use and how you can apply them in your day to day life to create a happier, healthier and more fulfilled lifestyle.
After your intensive month you can choose to go it alone, or you can opt for my maintenance programme (still focused solely on you and your ongoing journey).
When we work 1-2-1 you’ll have my focused attention on your relationship with food and your body and I’ll be helping you to look at your lifestyle and where you can make small tweaks to add up to big forward steps as well as removing the obstacles that you are putting in your own way.
Your financial investment is £300 for your intensive month. But the most important investment is your time and your commitment. Are you ready?
This is not an easy way out – I can’t do any of the work for you. What I can do is support you and guide you through the process, giving you the tools to get your relationship with food, body and soul back on track. Whilst you’re working with me, I’ll be your personal cheerleader and chief encourager.
I only have 3 spots available and we start immediately so if you think it’s something that may be for you then don’t hang around.
This is for you if:
- You want to learn how to be relaxed around food
- You’re ready to learn to be happy in the body you have now
- You understand that your health is a balance of physical and mental aspects and are committed to working on both
- You want to release the emotions that cause you to eat in a safe and supported space
- You’re ready to look at your lifestyle and identify where you can make tweaks and changes so that you no longer rely on food to make you feel better
- You’re ready to make the emotional investment in yourself and do the work you need to do to make the changes you need to make
Here’s what former 1-2-1 clients have to say:
Rachel has a gift for listening attentively and making you feel heard and then getting to the core of the issue very quickly. She has enabled me to see things much more clearly and has made me feel more powerful and in control as she always reminds me that I have a choice in any situation.
Rachel helped me to realise that taking care of ME was very important and it would lead to me being better able to take care of my family.
I've realised that by doing little things just for me, leads to my feeling good about myself and then sets up a positive chain of thoughts and actions.
I really enjoyed working with Rachel. Her approach is authentic and practical but also inspirational. I would recommend Rachel to anyone. She will show you a better way to live, which will ultimately lead to a happier outlook on your life. Leila, London
"I thought I knew myself pretty well and what my issues were but by working with Rachel I found that things I thought were insignificant were having a huge impact on my life. Working with Rachel has been a really great investment on a personal level." Kirsty, Leeds
I've found working with Rachel hugely rewarding. She continues to make committed effort to find strategies that work for me and to get to know my issues better. Rachel has a huge number of practical techniques that are easy to remember and use and I have been hugely impressed by the results. I continue to use these myself and to try and adopt her measured approach to view things more clearly: these continue to provide me with a happier, calmer and more confident approach to life. I have no hesitation in recommending Rachel's skills and can't praise her highly enough. Emily, London
- Because I’ve been where you are now and I want to show you that it doesn’t have to be that way.
- Because I will challenge anyone who says that you have to be skinny to be healthy, attractive or happy.
- Because I want you to succeed!
My journey with emotional eating started at the age of 20 after a particularly traumatic event which left me lacking confidence, scared of my own shadow and unable to leave the house on my own.
With a boyfriend who worked nights, I relied on my flatmate for support. We’d go to the supermarket and buy comfort food and alcohol so that I could eat away the awful emotions that I was feeling at the time.
I’m not sure how I came out of that time, it seems like such a blur now but the one thing that never went away was my desire to eat every time things got difficult or stressful. And an extra couple of stone that I just couldn’t shift permanently, no matter how many diets I tried.
You see, over the next 15 years as I battled with my weight, yo-yoing up and down, even qualifying as a consultant for one of the big UK slimming companies, I never associated my eating with my emotions.
I tried everything, from the Hip & Thigh diet to slimming pills, shakes and Aloe Vera gel to off the shelf hypnotherapy products.
It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom emotionally that I realised that my feelings and my eating were tied together and if I could get a handle on coping with my emotions I could get a handle on my eating habits too.
The last 7 years have been a journey of personal and professional development. Using my teaching skills (yes, I used to teach 5 year olds) and new hypnotherapy skills, I set up in business helping women like you to understand the connections between their emotions and their relationship with themselves and their eating habits.
I have continued to add more therapies and learning to my practice but the underlying key is holding space for you to discover how to create a fulfilled life on your terms and the tools and skills to cope with it without using food.
I’ve helped some women lose weight but I’ve helped more women to feel empowered about their abilities to cope with whatever life throws at them and to know that their value is not tied up in their weight or their jeans size.
I’ve been featured in Families Magazine, the Yorkshire Evening Post and on BBC Radio.
Shall we get started?
